The purpose of this project is to determine how predominantly African-American congregations in the Columbus area promote healthy development among youth. As a pilot project, this study will not provide conclusive results. It will, however, generate some preliminary findings and help identify the feasibility of employing such a process in the local African-American faith community. Such information will be critical for planning a more extensive and useful assessment study.
The following congregations participated in the project:
All Nations Church Christ Cathedral First Church of God Gospel Lighthouse Church Holy Rosary /St. John the Evangelist Rhema Christian Center Shiloh Baptist Church St. Paul AME Tabernacle Baptist Church The Way of Holiness
